Hi there, I’m Marko! I’m a Minneapolis, St. Paul-based principal content strategist and writer.

Over the last decade, I’ve done it all when it comes to content marketing. I’ve been the writer, the strategist, the creator, and the manager. I’ve collaborated across teams and brands, big and small–in big industries like healthcare, fintech, and retail.

I’ve built websites, brand guides, and messaging frameworks, written lots of words for social, digital, and product platforms, and strategized content experiences on when and how to connect them to the right customer journey.

I’m called a professional for this. And most days that still surprises me. Yet whatever I am to you, I make creating and planning content easy.

Beyond all this fun stuff, I write personal essays and poetry for my IN THIS LIGHT newsletter on Substack. This is where I explore themes on life, healing, and moving forward.

I also speak sometimes. I wrote and delivered the TEDx Talk, Healed or Healing? Finding Your New Normal–discussing the continuous nature of healing and personal growth.

My biggest hope is to combine my passion for content strategy and words to inspire and connect with brands and people in thoughtful ways.

Let’s connect or work together.

Watch my TEDx Talk on healing.

Look back at all the times someone didn't quite understand your journey, your healing. In this talk, I examine popular notions of healing and offer a newish perspective on this messy process.
